Recently, I purchased one of these cases from newegg, and I am thrilled with it. Normally I don’t like cases this big. I prefer as small a case as possible while still being able to fit a standard ATX motherboard into it. In hindsight, the best case I’ve ever owned was my Antec Super LanBoy. Hands down.
When I replaced the Super LanBoy, I decided I needed something big. Something I could grow into. I went with the Antec Titan 550. It was huge, and I liked it… at first. I soon realized that larger also meant awkward and difficult to carry. Since then, I’ve kept my eyes peeled for a replacement. Something similar in size to the Super LanBoy, while still having enough room for a high-end graphics card.
To that end, I went with the CM Storm Sniper. While a little larger and heavier than I wanted, it turns out it was within my tolerance of such things. It has excellent cable management, something missing from my other cases.
Now when I set out to build a desktop for gaming, I only use it for that. No storage drives, no extra cards, just the bare minimum number of components. I have a server for that extra fluff if I need it. The only shortcoming of this case, as far as I am concerned, all of the drive bays I will never use. I only need two 3.5” bays, and one 5.25” bay. I understand that this does not seem to be the case for many people, but for me, that is the only flaw.
All in all, this case is highly recommended, and worth every penny. I plan on using it for years to come. 9 out of 10.
